Many people don’t realize that polygraph examiners are not all the same, and the accuracy of a polygraph examination is made up of 50% science and 50% art and skill of the examiner. Forensic Polygraph training is standardized throughout the United States, but the examiner’s skill varies significantly due to the examiner’s professional background. AS Polygraph Solutions maintains the ethical and training standards as a member of the National Polygraph Association, American Polygraph Association, California Association of Polygraph Examiners and the American Association of Police Polygraphists. There are three reasons why AS Polygraph Solutions is unique in the ability to provide highly accurate results.
Having over three decades of law enforcement experience, I have received thousands of hours of training in interviewing people of all ages related to various circumstances. That training under the local and federal umbrella of law enforcement provides me with a unique and effective interview ability that is unmatched by most polygraph examiners. My polygraph certification is accredited through the American Polygraph Association.
TRAINING
My former law enforcement career allowed me to engage the community while on patrol, investigate various crimes as a detective, internal affairs and ultimately provide leadership to the men and women of a large law enforcement agency as part of their executive leadership team. These experiences, combined with conducting thousands of interviews, serve as the foundation of my ability to obtain information and effectively communicate with people in a way that is unique and not found with most other polygraph examiners.
EXPErience
Given my background, training, and experience, my philosophy is to ensure those I interview and examine receive the utmost respect, regardless of their circumstances. I recognize that this process can be intimidating and sometimes create anxiety. Therefore, creating an environment to comfortably discuss the issues at hand without fear of being judged, confused, or pressured at any point during the polygraph exam process is something I take pride in.
